3D Boat Modelling
Our studio’s next door neighbour has been doing work to serve the yacht industry for over 30 years and it was just until recently that we found out they occasionally craft beautiful scaled boat models as a hobby!
After talking to the very friendly owner, we decided to collaborate with them on a small digital fabrication project. We helped them model a 17′ scout pull boat in 3D so that they can print it out easily as props for teaching future scouts.
It was our first time trying to model physical objects into 3D drawings. This project was a wonderful exercise to put our recently acquired 3D modelling skill into practice.
